Naomi, Keeva, Desiree, Michelle and Melissa from Kunawarritji joined Rob, Gethyn and Grace from Punmu in travelling to Newman to complete, Tracks to Two-Way Learning professional development, run by the WA Department of Education. 29th August 2020.
The primary focus being collaborative planning between Martu and non-Martu teachers. There were some great discussions around Aboriginal English and how our programs could be adapted for Manyjilyjarra (language dialect) within our setting.
The bonding and learning experience was rich and rewarding for all.
