New Permanent Teacher’s Residence in Kunawarritji
Rawa is excited to have a permanent residence for a second teacher at the Kunawarritji campus! As numbers have grown, it’s been a priority to ensure we can support these students through additional staff.
This is a significant moment for Kunawarritji and the community as the campus has primarily been a one teacher school. This additional infrastructure, partially funded by the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia (AISWA), will permanently allow students to benefit from a second teacher.
A Sports Court in Kunawarritji, Proposal
Only in its infancy, the first sports facility in Kunawarritji is proposed to be a basketball and netball court covered by a large metal roof. This project is currently in the design stage.
This project will be funded by AISWA and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries through their Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF).
